Who we are

The Comp Trading LLC (“The Comp,” “we,” “us”) runs a trading education program taught by Angel Escobedo, including the website https://thecomptrading.com and our Jireh Trades social channels. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you apply, book a call or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle, country, whether you are 18 or older, your answers about your trading experience, goals and budget, the time you book, and anything you write to us.

Information collected automatically. Our website and form providers may collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages viewed and referring link, using cookies or similar tools.

Payments. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.

How we use your information

We use your information to review your application, schedule and hold your call, deliver lessons and coaching, send you emails and (with your consent) text messages about your application, your call and our program, answer your questions, improve our program and website, and meet legal obligations.

Text messages (SMS)

If you check a text message consent box on our application form, we may text the phone number you gave us. Non-marketing texts cover your application and your scheduled call, such as booking confirmations, reminders with the meeting link, a reminder to finish booking, and a note if a call is missed. If you also agree to marketing texts, you may get occasional messages about free trading lessons and our programs.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and you will get one message confirming you are opted out. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the program, such as our CRM and messaging platform, form provider, scheduling and video call tools, payment processor and email provider, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and Do Not Track

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the application form, may not work properly without them. Our site does not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including keeping records of your consent, and then delete it or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any email, and stop texts by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law. We will not treat you differently for using them.

Children

Our program is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will post it here.
