Agreement

These terms apply to your use of https://thecomptrading.com, our application form, our calls, and our trading education program (together, the “Services”) provided by The Comp Trading LLC (“The Comp,” “we,” “us”). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Education only, not financial advice

Everything we provide, including lessons, calls, sessions, notes, videos, posts and messages, is for education only. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Nothing we share is a recommendation to buy or sell any security, futures contract or other product, and nothing is personalized investment, legal or tax advice. You make your own trading decisions and are solely responsible for them.

Trading risk

Trading stocks, options and futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. With some products you can lose more than you put in. Past performance, whether actual or simulated, does not indicate future results. Only trade with money you can afford to lose.

Results are not typical

Student results we share are individual experiences. They are not typical and are not a promise of what you will earn. Your results depend on your own effort, discipline, capital and market conditions. Any program guarantee applies only as written in the enrollment terms you receive when you join.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to apply for or use the Services.

Programs, payments and refunds

Prices, payment plans, what is included, and refund terms for any paid program are shown at checkout and in your enrollment terms, and those terms control. Payments are processed by our payment processor. If a payment plan payment fails, access may be paused until it is resolved.

Text messaging terms

Program. The Comp text messages. If you check a text message consent box on our application form, you agree to receive text messages from The Comp Trading LLC at the phone number you provided.

What you will get. Non-marketing texts about your application and scheduled call, such as booking confirmations, reminders with the meeting link, a reminder to finish booking, and a note if a call is missed. If you also agree to marketing texts, occasional messages about free trading lessons and our programs.

The details. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, and you will get one message confirming you are opted out. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Community and conduct

In our calls, sessions and community spaces, treat others with respect. Do not harass anyone, share other members’ information, spam, or promote other services. We may remove anyone who breaks these rules.

Our content

Lessons, recordings, notes, templates and other materials belong to The Comp. You may use them for your own personal learning. You may not copy, resell, share or publish them without our written permission.

Third-party services

The Services rely on outside tools such as video call, scheduling, form, payment, community and trading platforms. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for how they work.

No warranties

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Comp is not liable for any trading losses or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Ventura County, California.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
